This weekend I…

Went bowling again but could not beat my score. Although 125 isn’t bad. I swear the lane was wonky.

Seen Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Very dark and quite funny.

Bought myself a new car entertainment unit (the term ‘radio’ doesn’t really fit) which replaces this one (on my old blog, scroll down a bit). It’s modern, it’s shiny, looks gorgeous, and it actually has NO CD player built in. I’ll explain with a few piccies in another entry.

Started to update my iTunes music collection. Upgrading all my tracks from 128 kbps AAC to 256 kbps AAC. So that’s a lot of re-ripping CDs to do over the next however-long-it-takes.

Worked nights. And played that usual game of Dodge The Pissheads in Manchester at Midnight. You’d think a 50 foot coach would be encouragement enough for them to get out of the way, but it’s usually the opposite. And the Prestonians are no better.

Tried the new orange flavoured Coca Cola. Wasn’t expecting much, but it was actually really nice! The taste combination was just about right. Good job it’s delicious because it was BOGOF at Morrisons on 6-packs so I have a dozen cans of the stuff.

I see that the lovely 20six has been down over the last few days, and so are all their fabulous blogs that I read (well, the one’s that haven’t moved away yet!).

No, I don’t regret moving my blog to here :)

I expect a flurry of great entries from the 20six faithful once it comes back online!!

Sitting at Manchester right now, a bit chaotic for a sunday. Apparently there was a fire on one of their local buses or something! But they have got round to cleaning me and fuelling me now. I don’t want to be late back into the bus stop this evening, being sunny Sunday I have 80 people to load.

That’s 80 odd people that won’t be visiting Watford Gap tonight too. Say for example, that 65 people went inside and bought at least a coffee and a sandwich, average of £7 each that’s £455 that Roadchef could be losing out on. Seeing as it’s hot, many might buy water too, another £1-2 a bottle… their loss! They say they aren’t making money from us, we’ll make sure it’s true.

I will post details about the Roadchef fiasco, I promise!
